Dr. Lawler’s medical journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, accompanied by a minor in Spanish, from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO, where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Lawler has a notable military background as a Flight Surgeon, having served with the Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 225 in Japan, and the Marine Wing Support Squadron 373 in support of combat missions in Afghanistan. His exemplary service earned him the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Fleet Marine Force Qualification Warfare Device.

In 2019, Dr. Lawler founded Cardinal Medical Services, Inc. - a specialized consultancy focusing on Life Care Planning, Medical Cost Projections, and Expert Medical Witness testimony.
